Youser 02: Runes of Magics armor customizing and coloring

Youser is a weekly show, every Saturday, covering use-generated content in MMOs, by your host Jeremy Stratton. In stunning 1080p HD.

If you follow my shows on my Blog, you'll notice they aren't being posted at the assigned times. Never fear, I am still working on setting up a smooth, assembly-line method to make posting easier and quicker, but all the shows this past week, actually, have been uploaded on time. So, one step closer to perfection.

Youser episodes one and two are very interesting to me. I love character customization and both RoM and GW2 have very robust systems. I wrote a separate article sharing many of my opinions and comparisons, as well as linking to this video.

I see many similarities between RoM’s and GW2′s armor customizing and coloring systems. Aggregators and transmutation stones are identical and coloring achieves the same robust results, but by different means.
